About Us

Field and Fable happened because there was an empty space and a lot of love for local handmade art and craft. It sits on one side of an old lawn and garden shop in the industrial area of Swift Current and houses Elaine's (Tooaquarius) studio and a growing collection of local artist work.

The shared building really is that small town type of multi-purpose place and we like it that way. On one side there's a garage bay where Lloyd does magic things with automotive electronics and on the other is a big old show room with great cedar beam ceilings. There's space for classes and a studio, some favourite craft supplies, and the works of talented prairie artists.
